Ecological Pocket Ashtray

Created in 2015, the biatakí - eco-pocket ashtray, is made from dry common cane and reused cork stopper. Light, practical and handmade, it has become more than a pocket ashtray. It is also a symbol of environmental sustainability as it represents the best parameters: local, artisanal and sustainable production, natural and biodegradable product, circular economy product.

This eco-friendly ashtray aims to reduce and eliminate pollution caused by discarding cigarette butts on the floor, as a single butt contaminates up to 50 liters of water.

Biatakí products are produced by hand using natural raw materials (common cane, cork, wood and bamboo planted in Portugal), as well as reused materials (cork stoppers collected in restaurants).
