Soak for 8 to 12 hours and cook for 45 minutes in a regular pot or 25 to 30 minutes in a pressure cooker. You can add a strip of Kombu Seaweed during soaking and cooking to make the pea more tender, improve digestion and reduce flatulence.Soak the peas for at least 1 hour. Discard the water and cook for 1 hour on a low heat, with 2.5 times its volume in water.
