Soak for 8 to 12 hours and cook for 45 minutes in a regular pot or 25 to 30 minutes in a pressure cooker. You can add a strip of Kombu Seaweed during soaking and cooking to make the beans more tender, improve digestion and reduce flatulence. Cook for 1 hour on low heat, with 3 times its volume of water. You can add various vegetables such as Lombards, carrots, or sauté it with onions. You can cook it with brown rice (they have the same cooking time).
