Mung bean is native to India (1500 BC), its consumption was followed by Chinese populations. It is easy to cook, has a soft texture, smooth and sweet flavor that reminds peas. It is also widely used in the form of sprouted shoots. Rich in fiber, protein, iron and magnesium.
