The use of recycled stainless steel is an important step towards an increasingly eco-friendly design. Opting for recycled stainless steel makes it possible to considerably reduce the environmental impact of the raw material manufacturing process.

By avoiding the impact of extracting and transporting the mineral, and the energy required to produce the virgin material, carbon emissions in stainless steel production are reduced by 58% (based on SIRSA Qwetch’s 2020 Carbon Footprint). The stainless steel used in Qwetch Active products is manufactured in accordance with the Recycled Claim Standard 2.0 and contains 90% recycled material.
